Prophetic Vision 1st August 2021

Last night I saw loud and thundering horses careening at top speed, charging and racing to get here.I saw buildings falling, multiple buildings detonated, self imploding and toppling 9/11 style, but lots of them.

I heard tribes wailing like the American Indians war calls that was sending out a cry throughout the nations.

I saw lots of people looking around dazed and confused, wondering what was going on and not understanding what was happening.

And I heard the ones who have been on the front lines cheering and whooping with excitement at the toppling.

Babylon is going to fall and Zion is being built from the ashes as people are being refined like silver in the fire of purification.

The building blocks necessary for peace are being guided into place and the temple is being rebuilt, but not by human hands.

This reference to building not by human hands is also mentioned in Daniel 2:34-35 in reference to the statue depicting the 4 kingdoms that will all fall.

"While you were watching, a rock was cut out, but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and smashed them.

Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were all broken to pieces and became like chaff on a threshing floor in the summer.

The wind swept them away without leaving a trace.

But the rock that struck the statue became a huge mountain and filled the whole earth."

My partner also had a dream about blocks of silver being guided into place."

The LORD's promises are pure, like silver refined in a furnace, purified seven times." (Psalm 12:6)"

For you, God, tested us; you refined us like silver." (Psalm 66:10)

A silversmith would have to watch the silver attentively, getting it to just the right heat, in order to purify the metal.

In like manner, God also watches us as he puts us through fiery trials, never leaving us for even a moment.

We are the blocks that are being purified by fire and guided into place.

We are in exciting times and those who are awake, aware and ready, will live through this and enter the promised land.

Isaiah 60 and 61 was shown to me as confirmation that the glory of Zion and the year of the Lord’s favour is upon us.

Isaiah 60 - The Glory of Zion

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.

See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.

Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.“

Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the hip.

Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come.

Herds of camels will cover your land, young camels of Midian and Ephah.

And all from Sheba will come, bearing gold and incense and proclaiming the praise of the Lord.

All Kedar’s flocks will be gathered to you, the rams of Nebaioth will serve you; they will be accepted as offerings on my altar, and I will adorn my glorious temple.“

Who are these that fly along like clouds, like doves to their nests?

Surely the islands look to me; in the lead are the ships of Tarshish, bringing your children from afar, with their silver and gold, to the honor of the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor.“

Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you.

Though in anger I struck you, in favor I will show you compassion.

Your gates will always stand open, they will never be shut, day or night, so that people may bring you the wealth of the nations—their kings led in triumphal procession.

For the nation or kingdom that will not serve you will perish; it will be utterly ruined.“

The glory of Lebanon will come to you, the juniper, the fir and the cypress together,to adorn my sanctuary; and I will glorify the place for my feet.

The children of your oppressors will come bowing before you; all who despise you will bow down at your feet and will call you the City of the Lord, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

“Although you have been forsaken and hated, with no one traveling through, I will make you the everlasting pride and the joy of all generations.

You will drink the milk of nations and be nursed at royal breasts.

Then you will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior, your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

Instead of bronze I will bring you gold, and silver in place of iron.

Instead of wood I will bring you bronze, and iron in place of stones.I will make peace your governor and well-being your ruler.

No longer will violence be heard in your land, nor ruin or destruction within your borders, but you will call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.

The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.

Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end.

Then all your people will be righteous and they will possess the land forever.

They are the shoot I have planted, the work of my hands, for the display of my splendor.

The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the Lord; in its time I will do this swiftly.”

Isaiah 61 - The Year of the Lord’s Favor

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.

He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.

They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.

They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.

Strangers will shepherd your flocks; foreigners will work your fields and vineyards.

And you will be called priests of the Lord, you will be named ministers of our God.

You will feed on the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast.

Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance.

And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.“

For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing.

In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them.

Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples.

All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the Lord has blessed.”

I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God.

For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.

Behold, the glory of the LORD is upon us and the year of the LORD's favour draws near.

The battle cries have gone out and the sirens have been sounded.

Our wails have gone up to Heaven and the longings of our hearts have been sanctified.

Our voices have been heard and our prayers have been answered.

Rejoice!

Babylon is referred to by many times in the bible - Land of the Chaldeans (Ezekiel 12:13), Land of Shinar (Daniel 1:2, Zechariah 5:11) Desert of the Sea (Isaiah 21:1,9) Lady of kingdoms (Isaiah 47:5) Land of Merathaim (Jeremiah 50:1, 21) Sheshach (Jeremiah 25:12, 26)

Jim Collins the 5 stages of decline

In the Christian scriptures, Babylon is a godless construction, which tries to reach to the skies and displace God.

Today the term can stand for a widespread culture that is seductive, glamorous, but unreal and unsatisfying.

It is superficial and one-dimensional.

It is black and white rather than abundant in colour.

Instead of fostering healthy imagination, it limits and pre-packages it.

Thus, advertisements tell us what to eat and drink, what to do and what to wear.

Babylon impoverishes us.

It cuts us off from many enriching dimensions of human life.

It imprisons the spark that is within us, the soul that is invisible, intelligent, free and immortal.

The churches are not safe from this culture.

People are leaving the church because their spiritual needs are not being met.

They were looking for nourishment but they felt that they were being fed on junk food.

The task of the churches is to rediscover the riches of faith, for God has bigger hopes for us than Babylon could ever entertain.

God offers us an undreamt-of gift, conveyed to us by His Son.

We need divine food, because we are made for greatness.

We live in an open-ended world where we can risk becoming who we really are, persons who can love without limits.

We need then to cultivate our Christian imagination carefully.

What are the items that replace God in our lives: Career success? Material possessions? Money? Needing to be right? Status? Sexual lust? Focusing on getting ahead at the expense of others?

We must pray for the grace of appreciating the world while not falling prey to its nihilistic dark side.
