Prophetic Word - 16th October, 2025

Contrary to popular belief, I don't tend to follow politics, it's only when I'm drawn into it by the Prophetic Words I receive that I research and write about it.

This helps me to make sense of the craziness that's taking place in the world, whilst providing clarity and depth of understanding with the biblical references and prophecy surrounding it, in order to give both myself and others a Rock to stand on.

God first drew my attention to Iran on the 27th May 2024, but being at full capacity in both my animal rescue work and also being overloaded with Prophetic Words, too numerous to even count, I set it to one side until I felt ready to deal with it.

Then on the 16th October, God gave me this Word, at the time of writing the preceding blogs "Qatar Will Call Off The Dogs" and The Path To Peace and this felt like the next logical piece in the sequence.

This series on the Middle East has been the hardest to write because it's so dark, brutal and heinous, and the emotional effects of knowing the details can be debilitating, destabilising and deeply disturbing to my mental equilibrium and ability to function optimally, but the truth must be told and it will most definitely set us free.

The Islamic Republic of Iran

Iran, officially called the Islamic Republic of Iran, formerly known as Persia, is an Islamic theocracy governed by elected and unelected institutions, with ultimate authority vested in the supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, an Iranian cleric and politician since 1989, governing all aspects of Iranian life under Sharia law.

The Islamic Republic of Iran, with a population of approximately 92 million, has been a major adversary of Israel since it came to power in 1979 and militant anti-Zionism and staunch opposition to the U.S. are key components of the regime's ideology and drive.

Iran's leaders regularly call for wiping Israel off the map whilst weaponising Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist organisation, and mobilising resentment towards Israel across the Arab world to serve their quest for regional hegemony.

Iran has become a major global player, participating in multilateral platforms including its membership of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa), a group of major emerging economies, which it joined in January 2024, together with Egypt, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in 2024, with Indonesia the 10th full member in 2025.

Its stated aim is to promote peace, security and economic co-operation among its members, but as is so often the case, this is nothing more than a cover for darker intentions based on subjective goals and subversive tactics to gain strength and power through coalition.

The Islamic Revolution

The first Islamic Revolution, led by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, began in January 1978 and ended in February 1979, culminating in the overthrow of the Pahlavi dynasty, due to the Shah's secularising, modernising and Westernising policies, which were seen to undermine the Islamic values and the power of the clergy.

It was a violent extremist regime ruling in the name of Islam, with the stated purpose of creating a just and pure Islamic society under Sharia law, which is not compatible with Western values of democracy, diversity and human rights as judgment includes beheadings, stoning, cutting off hands and genital mutilation.

Other extremist revolutions include those started by the Muslim Brotherhood and followers of Wahabbism, founded by Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab, who became a Muslim cleric in the Salafi tradition, which has its roots in a strict, puritanical interpretation of Islam that excludes peace, harmony and the striving towards perfection.

In 1744, Muhammad ibn Saud, the founder of the first Saudi state, and religious leader Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab, formed an alliance whereby ibn Saud offered political power and protection for Ibn Abd al-Wahhab's religious movement, and Ibn Abd al-Wahhab provided a powerful religious message that helped unite tribes and legitimise the Saudi family rule.

This is a symbiotic relationship of mutual benefit to rule, divide and conquer, which they believe is in the name of God, and all followers are hostile to everyone who don't bow down to their will, including Muslims, killing everyone and destroying everything in their wake.

Iran's Position on Israel

Iran believes that the ongoing situation in Gaza is the result of years of occupation, suppression and systematic genocide supported by Western powers, completely ignoring the Jewish people's rightful claims to the land both historically, legally, biblically and also according to the Quran.

This view fails to take into account the fact that Jewish communities faced persecution by Arabs long before the state of Israel was established in 1948, including the 1929 Hebron Massacre.

Ultimately, extremist regimes seek to dominate, intimidate, subjugate and manipulate through force, under the threat of death, with the stated intention of creating a global caliphate.

Iran has consistently emphasised that a lasting ceasefire can only be achieved by addressing the root cause of the crisis which they state is occupation of their land in entirety, deliberately ignoring the fact that radical Islam does exactly the same, only on a global basis, as opposed to on their own God-given land, which is cited in all the major holy books including their own.

Currently, there are 23 Islamic states - Afghanistan, Algeria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brunei, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen, whilst the Jewish people, have only one state, don't seek to conquer other lands, and are the only state who passes the test of not discriminating against or impairing the rights of adherents of other religions or non-believers.

The Axis of Resistance

Over the past few decades, Iran has invested heavily in proxy militias and terror organisations across the Arab world, known as The Axis of Resistance.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps' Quds Force operates on the ground in Syria, Iraq and other countries, alongside Iran-backed local proxies.

The Axis of Resistance, with Palestine at the centre, is based on hostility to Israel and to Western meddling in the Middle East, as opposed to a shared ideology or religious identity.

Its main function is to give the Iranian and Syrian regimes political legitimacy and asymmetric deterrence while the non-state  members of the alliance who provide that deterrence, benefit from funds and weapons.

The Axis of Resistance comprises Hezbollah in Lebanon, Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq, Kata'ib Hezbollah, Asa'ib Ahl al-Haqq and the Badr Brigade in Iraq, foreign militias in Syria including the Afghan Fatemiyoun and the Pakistani Zainabiyoun, Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza and the Houthis in Yemen, creating a Ring of Fire around Israel.

Nuclear Threat

Jerusalem, Washington and others also see Iran's efforts to acquire nuclear weapons as a key strategic threat; despite attempts to curb it through sanctions and, at times, negotiations, and Iran is now considered a nuclear threshold site.

Clearly, with such genocidal intentions towards both Israel and Western civilisation, Iran cannot be allowed to have nuclear capability.

Whilst they call for accountability from others, there is no accountability from them, believing that their gruesome, heinous and barbaric methods are legitimate resistance efforts, and believing they are doing God's work, not just funding terrorism and killing Jews, but these terrorist cells have been massacring Christians and non-muslims all over the world for years, in the millions, it's just not reported on in mainstream media.

Anyone who seeks to impose their will on others in such a brutal, aggressive and oppressive way, has to be stopped, and cannot be allowed to infiltrate or be a de-stabilising force.

The challenge here is the Iranian's, together with other Islamic regimes, believe they are fighting a religious war and don't respect, respond to or recognise any other authority, creating a major battle on all fronts where everyone is forced to pick a side.

A Dangerous Game

Like Qatar, Iran is playing a dangerous game, believing themselves to be held separate from its proxies due to indirect responsibility and their belief that their role cannot be proven and therefore, there can be no legitimate possibility of reprisals.

The arsenal of forces that Iran has built up from all sides in a deadly coalition is unprecedented, creating an imminent danger requiring Israel and the West to join together in unity also, as these factions are irreconcilable against both value systems and they only respond to strength.

Yet the expert propaganda and total lack of knowledge, understanding and wisdom, is causing people to side with the enemy, and so-called government "leaders" are using this as a way to usurp power, not realising the beast they are getting into bed with, will devour them at the first opportunity.

Due to the proximity of the proxies and the imminent threat to life that these radical Islamist regimes present, Israel has no option but to attack them with its full force in a battle for not just their very existence, but for civilisation as a whole, and the West would be wise to realise this, before it's too late.

One thing is for sure, despite their false sense of security, Iran, like Qatar, will not be immune to whatever is necessary to protect and preserve life, making them a legitimate target, and sooner or later, the head of the snake will be cut off.

Biblical Prophecy

Israel is strategically positioned for God's plan and glory and the LORD declares that God Himself is a wall of fire around it, and He will be its glory within. (Zechariah 2:5)

The bible gives a clear picture of Israel's enemies who surround them on every side, God's enemies growling, His foes rearing their heads.

With cunning they conspire against God's people, they plot against those God cherishes.

"Come," they say, "let us destroy them as a nation, so that Israel's name is remembered no more."

With one mind they plot together, form an alliance against God - the tents of Edom (in northern Saudi Arabia, southern Jordan and the very southernmost part of Israel) and the Ishmaelites (the Arabian peninsula), of Moab (Jordan) and the Hagrites (perhaps Jordan or Syria), Byblos (in Lebanon), Ammon (Jordan and Syria) and Amalek (the area south east of Gaza), Philistia, with the people of Tyre (in Lebanon) and even Assyria (includes Iraq and part of Iran) has joined them. (Psalm 83:2-8)

Enemies of God

But enemies of God's people who attempt to take possession of the pasturelands of God, are enemies of God Himself.

He will destroy them totally, making them like tumbleweed, like chaff before the wind.

As fire consumes the forest or a flame sets the mountain ablaze, God will pursue them with His tempest and terrify them with His storm.

God Himself will let them know that He, whose name is the LORD - that He alone is the Most High over all the earth. (Psalm 83:12-18)

God desires a relationship with everyone, He is never far, makes His presence known and provides many ways for people to find Him, it is our duty and responsibility to ask, seek and knock and when we seek Him with all our heart, we will find Him.

Prophecy & Promises

The bible has much to say about the future destinies of all nations, with promises of revival and glory, often coming as a result of destruction first, then salvation for many.

God strikes and then He heals, He uses other nations as a rod of discipline and correction (Proverbs 22:15) in order to open people's eyes in the hope they will return to Him.

Prophecy is unfolding before our very eyes, and no matter how it seems in the natural, God is very much in control and will bring His children home.

Iran is the head of the snake in the Middle East and God Himself will throw it down.

Any regimes that seek to force what they mistakenly believe to be God's will onto others, will fall, as God wants us to choose Him, of our own volition, though free will.

Getting To Know God

God's desire is for all to return to Him, but our understanding of the truth is different, with some not believing at all.

God gave us His Word to guide us, yet most of us do not take the time to study it and draw close to Him, and in our pride and arrogance, which God hates, we fail to acknowledge His existence, and those who do and proclaim to know Him, do not, as in HIs fullest expression, He is unknowable.

All religions of the world, no matter how much we pray, fast, do good deeds, give charity to those in need or seek to fulfil what we believe to be God's will, it will never be enough.

All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like an elf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away. (Isaiah 64:6)

Let us therefore truly understand what God desires, seeking deeply for the truth wherever it is to be found, and striving to develop a personal relationship where God speaks to us as His friend, loves us as a Father and protects us as His children.
